Popular subjects such as DIY Home Improvements and Woodwork, enable you to learn the basics of DIY and undertake simple projects at home. Our tutor/s are all specialists in their field whether it be through running their own business or simply years of on-the-job industry experience.  They will introduce you to courses that include woodworking with hand tools and power tools as well as DIY Home Improvements that will help you to complete simple repairs around your home.. Whichever course you choose, Sutton College, aims to build your confidence in dealing with both simple and complex craft tasks.

This year there are exciting new courses that will teach you how to repair plasterboard and also workshops to make book/tablet stands and a wood Christmas Tree decoration!

Expert tutors provide regular advice and guidance on individual projects and they will introduce you to planning your activities safely and increase your awareness of the requirements, when aiming for a professional style of finish in your chosen projects.

Our purposefully designed workshop at the main Sutton Centre provides the ideal setting to learn, practice and make use of specialist equipment.
