Course Information

What are the overall aims of the course?

The aim of this course is to help students understand how to create accounts, process accounting information in respect of the Sales and Purchase ledgers, understand how to calculate batch totals and to be able to produce accounting reports such as trial balance, customer/supplier activity and details reports.

What will I learn on the course?

How to set up suppliers, customers and nominal expense accounts
How to process sales and purchase invoices & credit notes
How to process supplier cheque paid & customer cheque received
How to process capital introduced (cash and bank)
How to process other bank and cash payments and receipts
How to print management reports
