Purpose of Course

You will learn about Active Listening, Using non- verbal communication/body language/eye contact/tone of voice, Open & Closed questions.

You will explore the 3 Main Approaches to Counselling: Person Centred Traditions/ Psychodynamic/Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.

You will consider the impact of issues around difference in working with clients and explore the meaning of stereotyping/assumptions/working in a non-judgemental manner.

This course is a Level 1. You will need at least Entry 3 English skills to be able to understand the information given at the course.
