Title of course Drawing & Painting - Landscape
Drawing on the history of painting and drawing you will learn from analysing the techniques and styles of great landscape painters, which includes contemporary (Peter Doig, Joan Eardley), modern (Van Gogh, Cezanne, Monet) and old master (John Cotman, Constable and Turner) drawing and painting.
Purpose of Course
The aim of the course is to be a guide to using different approaches to using oil and acrylic paint and drawing materials, so that you can find an individual way of painting and drawing the landscape.
You will learn from following a structured course, demonstration, one to one tuition and class feedback.

This course is suitable for all abilities including beginners and experienced.

Additional information
You will need to provide your own materials. A list of materials is provided at the start of the course. For those just starting the course the cost of materials will be approx. £40 as you will learn how to use a limited amount of colours.
What are the progression opportunities at the end of this course?
Many students remain on the course as each year the course is different and is structured so that all continue to keep on improving whatever abilities and experience.
The course can be used to develop a personal folder for those who wish to apply to a foundation course or to do a degree.
