What is this course about?

Would you know what to do in an emergency?

Children are always falling and banging themselves, would you know what to do? Basic First Aid is easy and even young children can learn First Aid techniques 

Family Learning courses are designed to provide parents, grandparents, carers and their children an opportunity to learn together.

What will we cover?

You and your child will learn how to administer First Aid in a variety of circumstances. 

Basic First Aid techniques including:

• What to do if someone is choking 
• How to cope if someone is bleeding 
• What to do if someone has been burnt

What level is this course & what skills do I need?

This course is suitable for beginners.

How do I enrol?

On this course, you will develop the following life skills:

• Social Wellbeing

Additional information

No more than two children per adult.

Please wear suitable clothing.

As this is a subsidised course you will be required to complete mandatory, audited documentation which your tutor will support you with.

What can I do after I have finished this course?

There is an opportunity for parents, grandparents and carers to enrol to complete an accredited First Aid course. Please see the website for further details.
