What is this course about?
Get creative as a family group in our well-appointed, specialist pottery studio and
make festive designs to take home! You will make Christmas ornaments and a festive candle holder.
Family Learning courses are designed to provide parents, grandparents, carers and their children an opportunity to learn together.
What will we cover?
You and your child/ren will learn basic pottery techniques to make your festive designs and be able to create finished pieces of work in a supportive family network.
You can become more active in support of your child/ren’s learning and development.
The course will also cover health and safety issues
Please note that you will not be able to take finished items away on the day as they
will need to be fired. You will be informed during the class when you will be able to
collect your finished work.

What level is this course & what skills do I need?
This course is suitable for parents/ grandparents and carers with a child or children aged 7+ years.
No more than two children per adult.
How do I enrol?
To enrol please complete this Enrolment form and someone from our enrolment team will contact you to take payment if applicable.
On this course, you will develop the following life skills:

Additional information
Clay and glazes can be messy so please wear old clothes or bring an apron.
It will take up to 3 weeks for your pottery to be glazed and fired. You will be contacted when it is ready for collection
As this is a subsidised course you will be required to complete mandatory, audited documentation which your tutor will support you with.
