Course Information

What are the overall aims of the course?

Use practical skills to be able to safely use online services to support everyday living, such as online shopping, local public services and using the computer to search the Internet for information.
Feel increased confidence and self-esteem for newcomers to technology use.

What will I learn on the course?

Use the computer online, gain understanding of how the Internet works.
Use the Internet including searching for and using websites.
Benefits of online shopping and how to do it.
Access public services online i.e. council, NHS, local services and information.
E-safety will be covered throughout.
Jargon busting will be included throughout.
