Want to start learning about using numbers? Nervous about numbers and how they work? Then this course will help you to get confident with numbers. You will be able to recognise them around you in everyday situations, such as telling the time, working out how heavy or light some things are, or even how much you will need to have on your card to go and watch a film.
Purpose of Course
Recognise numbers from one to beyond
Obtaining the right change (Calculate simple maths – addition, minus)
Tell the time using digital and analogue clocks (seconds, minutes, and hours)
Working in supermarket (weights and measures)
Supporting the end of year show (measurements and areas)
On this course, you will develop the following life skills:

What level is this course & what skills do I need?
Learners should be able to follow instructions, with or without support. An ability to identify basic numbers is useful.
