Maths Workshop for Creative Entrepreneurs

Course Information

What is this course about?

Are you on a creative course such as Pottery or Floristry and would like to know more about the basic maths of small businesses, you need look no further!

This is an online course and is aimed at those who are confident with IT, have WIFI access and also have access to a suitable device for online learning, such as a PC, tablet or laptop.

We will be using Google Classrooms and Googlemeets for online lessons and you will be expected to attend for the whole duration of sessions. There will be no face-to-face learning.

What will I learn on this course?

This short workshop will give you some basic tips on what maths you need to know to start a small business and where to find help on:

• Pricing and profit margins on materials needed
• Inventory management
• Keeping simple budget sheets

What level is this course & what skills do I need?

This course is aimed at those on Level 1 courses or above with a good level of English
