Introductory info

Keyboard skills and touch-typing skills are essential foundations of computer literacy and confidence – fast, accurate typing skills are useful to all computer users and can save a lot of time!

What are the overall aims of the course?

Develop faster and more accurate typing skills without having to look at your fingers while you type.

What will I learn on the course?

Describe the fundamentals of touch typing
Develop confidence in typing without looking at the keyboard
Increase speed and accuracy while you type reports, letters or emails

Are there any entry requirements?

Basic IT skills, keyboard and mouse skills
Knowledge of saving and retrieving files
Confident Internet user
