Family Learning

Family Learning courses at Sutton College

Sutton College’s Family Learning Programme offers families the opportunity to gain new skills and knowledge, support their children’s learning, meet other families and have fun together!  It is a great way for adults to learn together with their children and understand how they learn and how to encourage and motivate them whilst improving your own skills and confidence.

Our free and low cost family activities are delivered in venues across the Borough as well as our main centres.

Popular courses include: Little Learners: English and maths, Baby and Toddler Signing and Family First Aid. We also offer ‘One Step Ahead’ courses aimed at helping parents back to work.

In schools, the courses aim to help parents support their children’s education – usually focusing on maths, English and/or language skills.

Sutton College continues to offer Kids Club holiday activities for children aged 6 to 11 years as well as our family workshops for all ages. The Kids Club includes exciting science, dance and theatre, clay and craft workshops.

To enrol on family learning courses, call Sutton centre on 020 8289 4700 or Wallington Centre on 020 8773 5880

Priority is given to adults who do not have a Maths and/or English GCSE A*-C grade
