Sutton College are exhibiting a fantastic range of student work in the Europa Gallery in Sutton library.
Students from the 15/16 academic year were invited to submit their own work and the range of work spans entries from complete beginners through to more advanced, experienced students. Work from courses including drawing and painting, jewellery, stained glass and digital media will be on show plus work from the Springboard department for learners with disabilities.
The annual exhibition has been running for the last 10 years and gives all learners the chance to show their work and the products of the many fantastic classes they attend.
Angela Williams, curriculum manager said ‘We are very proud of the work our students have produced and really value this opportunity for them to show and celebrate their creations. The work on show has been produced by students of all levels – some who just returned to learning in the last year and yet managed to produce designs of fantastic quality’.
Other work on show includes lace making , stained glass and floristry plus many more.
A private viewing will be held on the evening of Tuesday 7th June with the exhibition itself being open from Tuesday 7th June through til Thursday 16th June.
