Jisc Futures Seminar 2014 – Leading Digital Learning in search of a Blue Print

SCOLA’s Principal, Saboohi Famili, is attending the Futures Seminar in London today. This event follows on from last year’s event when the impact of austerity and how this was managed was looked at. Despite the high levels of confidence, a key message was that the lack of a blueprint for investment in technology impaired consistency of development across the sectors. This year the search for a blueprint will be tackled.  SCOLA’s Principal will be presenting views on the Future of Technology for the FE and Skills Sectors. Some of the other topics under discussion are: ‘This is what we have done so far’; ‘The way I see the current challenges’; ‘ My view of what success would look like’ and ‘How we will get there’.  Leadership for technology underpins the themes and everyone’s input. There will be time for discussion, sharing views and networking.
