New Patchwork Tutor True Trailblazer!
With features in House & Garden, GQ and Good Housekeeping our new sewing tutor comes with the background and experience of an inspirational patchwork professional.
Martina Latimer has her own successful business, serving clients from around the world making bespoke patchwork creations including beautiful quilts, cushions & more.
Of her successful company, Martina said:
“After University and several interesting jobs in the big corporate world I realized something was missing: working and creating with my hands. I needed to touch and hold my work.
And so, in 2012, I’ve started the ‘project’ at sarah’s in Vienna and since then I have been on a wonderful journey, which allows me to create beauty by hand.“
Martina launched ‘at sarah’s’ in 2015 in London and has also taught patchwork at the Crafts parlour ‘Fringe 108’ and the London Met University.
She joins Sutton College bringing her contemporary patchwork style and design knowledge to our classes and to share her love and enthusiasm for this elegant craft.
