Tutor / Volunteer Awards

Sutton College students are asked to nominate a teacher, volunteer or any member of teaching staff who has a unique and inspirational approach to their work or who has made a real difference to them. Nominators are asked to highlight the achievements of truly exceptional teaching staff who have made an outstanding contribution to the classroom and whilst all our teachers are talented, hardworking and successful we want to hear about the ones that students think really stand out.

Support Staff Awards

Students can also nominate College support staff that they may have dealt with – the friendly face in the Customer Enquiry Centre, a caretaker or at the offices.

All entries must be received by 5pm Friday 20^th May 2016 and finalists will be invited to attend the Adult Learner’s Week awards evening on Tuesday 14^th June 2016. Results will be announced after this event.

Terms and Conditions

• The Sutton College Awards are open to anyone wishing to nominate a tutor, teaching/classroom assistant, volunteer, member of academic/teaching or support staff currently employed by Sutton College.
• Only one nomination for each category per person will be accepted.
• Nomination forms can be submitted via the website at suttoncollege.ac.uk or completed paper forms to be handed in to Sutton College reception/offices.
• All entries must be received by 5pm Friday 20^th May 2016.
• Entries must be completed in full to be accepted.
• Entries received after the closing date will not be accepted
• The nominee and nominator give all consents necessary for Sutton College to produce publicity material based on the nomination details, which may be edited by Sutton College if required.
• Winners will be notified w/c May 23^rd 2016 and will be invited to attend the Achievement Evening on Tuesday 14^th June 2016.
• Judging panel decision is final.
