Sutton College & the Open House London Event

Talented art students at Sutton College have created pieces for the ‘Open House London’ event and their work will be exhibited in Sutton library from Wednesday 14th Sept – Sunday 18th Sept.

Students were given the theme of ‘Local Treasures Unlocked’ and have created art work based on local landmarks such as Carshalton Water Tower, Honeywood and All Saints Carshalton.

These local buildings will all be open to the public the weekend of 17/18 September as part of Open House London.

Students from drawing and painting, watercolour and mixed media classes spent time studying the buildings and then created work showing how wonderful our local points of interest are. The range of experience of the students from Sutton College was extensive, with complete beginners through to advanced levels drawing or painting the buildings in question.
