PICTURE YOUR WAY TO A £100 PRIZE

Enter SCOLA’s annual photography competition and you could win £100, plus the ‘Spirit of Sutton’ trophy from Sutton Arts Council.

This year’s theme is the ‘Streets of Sutton’, and the aim is to capture the spirit of the streets.

Entries are welcome from students and non-students. The second prize is a £65 voucher from Rachel Walkden Photography, and third prize, a £50 SCOLA voucher.

Send your work to Photography Competition 2013, SCOLA, St Nicholas Way, Sutton. SM1 1EA, or email them to creativestudies@suttoncollege.ac.uk. The closing date for entries is Tuesday 7 May 2013.  Download an entry form here.

The three winning entries will be exhibited at the Adult Learners’ Week presentation evening in May, to be held at the main SCOLA centre in Sutton.

Principal ofSuttonCollege, Saboohi Famili, said: “Our photographic competition is a great way to celebrate the creative achievements of the entrants, and the College. The standard of entries from previous years has been extremely high and so we are looking forward to seeing this year’s efforts.”

The competition has been running for nine years, with previous themes including ‘Celebrating Achievement’, ‘Essence of SCOLA’, ‘I love Sutton’, ‘Time’, ‘Celebration’ and ‘Weather’.
