Photography Competition Results
Sutton College student Arpita Nag has won the Sutton Community Awards photography competition and will receive her prize at the awards ceremony in February.
Her image of Sutton high street was felt to capture the essence of the competition theme of ‘Sutton life: What Community Means to Me’ set by the London Borough of Sutton.
The competition opened in November and was exclusive to Sutton College students. The entries were varied with each taking their own view of the theme and entrants submitted various images portraying the theme in different lights.
The judging panel consisted of Jenny Sims (Sutton College Principal), Councillor Steve Cook and Paul Rosier, Director at Subsea7. Entries are on display in the walkway area by Sutton College and Sutton library.
Arpita will receive her prize of high street shopping vouchers at the Sutton Community Awards ceremony at the Holiday Inn next month. Runner up was Rizwan Ahmed.
