Exhibitors bring their work to the Starkey Gallery at SCOLA Sutton!

Members of the London Potters and Victoria & Albert museum exhibitors are part of an exciting new exhibition in the ‘Starkey Gallery’ at SCOLA, Sutton College.

Works include sculptures, jewellery and art pieces with all items beautifully displayed and available for purchase.

All students at the various jewellery and craft classes at SCOLA, many exhibit in galleries and at shows around the country.

Jewellery crafter Katharine Law said ‘I started to make jewellery & small silver items 30 years ago. I attended classes at SCOLA  & learnt my craft here.  I have my workshop at home where I design & make individual pieces…. I was delighted when one of my miniatures was selected for an exhibition in the 2014 “Inspired By” competition, organized by the Victoria & Albert museum’.

Artist in residence Abel Kesteven, creates beautiful art work and sculptures and has had work selected and hung at the pastel society at the London Mall Galleries for the last three years. He currently has work at the ‘Cross Gate gallery’ in Lexington USA.

The exhibition runs at SCOLA, Sutton College,  St Nicholas Way until Friday 20th March with public viewings being held on Friday 27th February and Friday 13th March by appointment only. For more information, please contact faydewinter@learn.suttoncollege.ac.uk
