Sutton College Craft Fair returns
Spring had sprung in Sutton on Saturday and hundreds of visitors attended the SCOLA, Sutton College Spring Craft Fair.
Based at the main College centre next to Sutton library, there were over 40 stalls selling an extensive range of crafts and homemade goods at this annual College event. Children were able to get crafty too, creating their own Mother’s Day gifts and cards.
The fair also offers Sutton College students the opportunity a chance to showcase their hard work, knowledge and skills.
Amongst the stall holders was Ilaria Ruiu, a floristry student who, together with class mates, made various beautiful flower arrangements and gifts for the fair.
Ilaria said ‘The fair was a very pleasant, exciting experience. We received a lot of compliments for the arrangements and the display! It was fantastic working together. We had nice chats with different nice people.’ More information on their arrangements can be found on Facebook at ‘Sutton Flower Arrangements and Gift Ideas ‘. of food, Sam who helped with a lovely bouquet and Jackie for the materials and for saying “Sunday is international women day, that’s an occasion for helping each other!” Thanks to Robin Hood Infants School for distributing the flyers! Thanks to my husband and my little girls for the delicious croissants and their support! Thanks to everyone, I had a great experience!
Other stalls included gorgeous glassware, handmade candles, soaps and skincare products and jewellery.
