Printmaking Tutor Exhibits at Royal Academy
Printmaking tutor Simon Burder is exhibiting a triptych (a set of three associated works intended to be appreciated together) of lithographs at the extremely prestigious Royal Academy Summer Exhibition.
“Run without interruption since 1769, the Summer Exhibition is the world’s largest open submission art show and brings together art in all mediums – prints and paintings, film, photography, sculpture, architectural works and more – by leading artists, Royal Academicians and household names as well as new and emerging talent. Over 1,500 works are on display, most of them for the first time. Highlights include Jeremy Deller, Banksy, Marcus Harvey, Tracey Emin RA, Frank Bowling RA, Antony Gormley RA and Honorary Academicians Anselm Kiefer, James Turrell and Wim Wenders”.

Ceramics Tutor Launches New Venture
Ceramics tutor Fay De winter is pleased to announce a special launch event to introduce her new business ‘State of Clay’.
Fay will be holding a mobile miniature pottery workshop, held in connection with The London Artisan at Old Truman Brewery and Urban Makers at Old Spitalfields Market (20-21 July). Four one hour workshops are available to book at a special rate to help celebrate the official opening. Spaces are limited to 10 per group, advance booking is essential at www.stateofclay.co.uk/events
“My aim is to share ceramics with a wider audience, to make it easier for all to be creative with clay. Touching, shaping and crafting with clay increases well-being, while developing satisfying skills of making artistic objects by hand.”
