Sutton Community Awards 2016 Photography Competition
Sutton College students have an exclusive opportunity to become part of the Sutton Community Awards 2016.
A photography competition has been launched as part of the event to capture the essence of ‘Sutton Life: What community means to me’. Photographs can capture anything that depicts working, living, studying, worship, leisure, or simply visiting Sutton.
The winner will take the photographs at the Community Awards ceremony in February at the Holiday Inn as well as receive £250 high street shopping vouchers.
The competition, sponsored by Subsea7 and organised by the College and LBS is part of the Community Awards recognising and celebrating the achievements, support and neighbourly good work of local people who have made a real difference in the Sutton community.
Sutton College photography tutor Riccardo Carlucci said ‘’I have had the pleasure of teaching both accredited & non accredited Photography courses at Sutton College and am always amazed at the quality of the images that the learners produce. This competition is looking to celebrate their hard work and talent whilst exemplifying the diversity of Sutton’
The competition runs from 7th November until 16th December and finalists will have their work displayed at the awards ceremony to be held at the Holiday inn Sutton as well as in Sutton library.
