Update on January Classes

UPDATE 4th January 2021

Changes to courses starting this term will be communicated to enrolled students this week via email or telephone where we do not have an email for you.

Further to the latest Government advice, January courses at Sutton College will be affected as below:
Courses starting week commencing January 4th will be online.
Students on courses from January 11th will be notified next week of any changes to course format.

Further to the recent Government guidance on schools and colleges, Sutton College will not be holding any classes on site week commencing Monday 4 January.

Classes have either been moved online or postponed for the week commencing 4th January and students will be receiving information on the delivery of their class early next week. This is only applicable to classes starting back in the week from Monday 4 January. Should any other classes, starting at later dates be affected,  further guidance will be sent out.

For classes in w/c 4th January that are now to be held online:

You will need to access your Google classroom using the @suttoncollege.ac.uk email address and logon that you were given at the start of your course. Please login using those details at the normal session time of your class.

For classes in w/c 4th January that have been postponed:

Your tutor will discuss when your class can be made up at a later date

Classes will hopefully resume on site as normal week commencing 11th January unless we receive further instruction from the DFE. 

Information on any changes to any classes for week commencing Monday 4th January will be communicated before Christmas.

Please note – the College buildings are now closed to learners until Monday 11th January but staff are working remotely and can be contacted as above during normal working hours, apart from the Christmas break between 23/12 – 3/1.
