Welfare Forum 2014 – Delivering a Welfare System fit for the 21st Century

SCOLA’s Principal, Saboohi Famili, will be speaking at Inside Government’s Welfare forum on Tuesday 25th March 2014. This Welfare 2014: Delivering a Welfare System Fit for the 21st Century forum will provide delegates with a vital insight into the government’s strategies to tackle unemployment, deliver growth and develop skills. Delegates will also explore best practice case studies and examine practical strategies to improve skills and the employment prospects of young people, adults and long term unemployment. The Principal will be sharing her knowledge and expertise by presenting a Case Study entitled “Designing & Delivering Tailored Learning Programmes for Job Seeking Adults”.  There will also be an opportunity for delegates to ask questions.

Delegates attending this forum could include welfare programme directors, heads of benefits, heads of fraud and error, heads of affordable and social housing, community engagement managers, apprenticeships managers and advisers, heads of skills, heads of employment and enterprise, welfare to work policy leads, directors of service design and heads of policy; and will be drawn from central government, local authorities, charities, social enterprises, academia and the private sector.
