Community Learning Co-ordinator

Job title Community Learning Coordinator
Basis: 22.5 hours per week, term-time only (0.5 FTE) days / hours to be agreed
Salary: NJC terms Sc6/SO1 – £25,746 – £30,108 pro rata
Details: This is an exciting opportunity for suitably qualified applicants to join Sutton College on their journey to Outstanding as a Community Learning Coordinator. The candidate we are looking for should be enthusiastic with a strong track record of driving change within the adult/further education sector. The successful candidate will have experience of working with external stakeholders and partners and building new links in order to further develop Sutton College in the community. Experience of curriculum design business planning is critical to the role.

Learning Support Assistant

Job title Learning Support Assistant
Basis: Sessional – based within our classes – various roles available Monday to Friday, daytimes & evenings, at Sutton and Wallington centres
Salary: Hourly rate £16.07 (academic terms)
Details: You will be working with the tutor in a classroom supporting learners some of whom may have disclosed a difficulty or disability. If you have the skills to motivate and encourage adult learners to achieve their goals by supporting them in a variety of classroom situations, please consider applying for this role.

In return as a valued staff member of the College, you will have access to training and continuous professional development and there may be an opportunity to train as a teacher. Ideally, candidates will have a minimum of L2 in English and maths.
