OUTREACH/COMMUNITY COURSES

SPRINGBOARD

Teaching a variety of courses and workshops in the community: including to learners with mild and moderate learning difficulties and disabilities

This is a great opportunity to join an expanding team of outreach/community learning tutors. Tutors are required to teach one or more of the following: Art; Sensory Art PMLD learners; Crafts; Art therapy; Cookery; Complimentary therapy; Exercise.

Essential qualifications for this role:

Tutors must have some experience of teaching adults, (teaching adults with learning disabilities and difficulties advantageous). A qualification in the subject area is desirable and you should have a teaching qualification or be willing to work towards one.

 Family Pottery and Ceramics Tutor

 4 week introduction pottery course Ages 7+( Family Learning) For the month of June 2018 initially, leading to a larger provision from September 2018.

 
Salary Range: LBS Tutors Scale
Start date: 9th June 2018 – 30th June 2018
Course day & times Saturdays 10:00 – 12:00
Venue: Sutton

 This is an ideal opportunity for you to take part in a thriving and supportive Art department with one of the best ceramics facilities in the South-East. Here you can inspire children, young adults and their parents to develop new skills together.

Tutors must have some experience teaching adults and children in a studio setting. A qualification in the subject area is also desirable.
