Our Level 2 NCFE-accredited pottery course is designed for learners who have completed the beginner stage and are now looking to refine their techniques, expand their creative range, and produce more complex and professional pieces.

This course will deepen your understanding of ceramics and introduce you to advanced methods, materials, and tools. You'll push your design abilities further and begin creating a polished body of work that reflects your personal style—perfect for showcasing to prospective clients or adding to your creative portfolio.
You’ll develop the confidence to experiment with form, texture, and decorative techniques, enabling you to design and produce more sophisticated, bespoke pottery. Your creative voice will begin to shine through as you master new skills and techniques
This course is for learners who have completed Level 1 Pottery and are ready to progress. A good understanding of English and the ability to follow more detailed instructions is essential.

Remember to wear suitable clothing and footwear, suitable for an industrial environment.

For your Course Approval session, you need to:

  • Bring accepted ID in the form of either a UK passport or printout of your e-visa showing residency status
  • Bring proof of benefit dated within the last 3 months or most recent payslip /tax return if claiming the concessionary fee
  • Ensure you meet all previous educational requirements to attend this course
  • Bring copies of previous exam certificates
