The Centre is closed between Christmas and New Year and on public holidays.

Opened in 1972, the Centre is a unique purpose-built centre for the education of adults. Based in the middle of Sutton town centre with easy access by rail and bus, the Centre offers excellent facilities including spacious art studios and well-equipped pottery and jewellery studios.
Classes are offered throughout the day all week 0930-1630 with additional evening classes on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays as well as Saturday mornings.
There is full disabled access to all floors.
Disabled Access into Sutton Centre
There is a disabled entrance from the Lower Ground Square. On your first visit, please ring the buzzer to speak to reception, who will release the door for you. Following this, you can request your student ID badge to be altered for independent access.
Alternatively, there is a lift in Civic Offices next to the Library with access through to the main entrance of Sutton College.

When arriving by taxi, a driver can enter the Civic Car Park and inform security via the intercom that they are dropping off a passenger. Wheelchair access is available from here to the Lower Ground entrance of the College
