ESOL English Language

ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) classes are open to anyone whose first language is not English. Sutton College has a long-established ESOL department that has supported the local community for many years.

Our classes support learners at every level, from beginners to advanced, helping students achieve a range of personal and professional goals. These may include supporting children with schoolwork, integrating into the local community, building confidence, finding employment, or gaining a promotion at work.

We offer ESOL courses from Beginner (Pre-Entry) to Advanced (Level 2). Students can work towards nationally recognised qualifications with Ascentis in Reading and Writing, and with Trinity College London in Speaking and Listening. We also offer ESOL with Digital Skills courses.
