Enjoy a series of enlightening and inspiring talks on Art History. This session will be delivered by our Art History expert at The National Gallery, London
This inspiring one-off session invites learners to explore the rich history and cultural significance of The National Gallery, celebrating over 200 years of sharing great art with the public. Through a guided visit and expert-led discussion, participants will delve into the origins of the collection, the vision behind its founding, and how it has evolved to reflect changing tastes, values, educational missions, and the digital age. Learners will encounter masterpieces from the Renaissance to Impressionism, gaining insight into how the Gallery has shaped public access to art and contributed to national identity. Whether you're new to art history or a seasoned enthusiast, this session offers a unique opportunity to experience one of London’s most iconic institutions through a fresh, historical lens. This session offers a thought-provoking look at how antiquity continues to shape modern perspectives on art and society.
