Enjoy a series of enlightening and inspiring talks on Art History.
This session is being delivered by our Art History expert at the British Museum, London.
This engaging off-site session takes learners on a journey through the British Museum, where ancient civilizations and modern interpretations and architectural feats converge.
We will explore how the Museum’s vast collections, from Egyptian to Greek, have informed our understanding of history, culture, and art.
Learners will gain insight into the architectural marvel that is the Museum’s steel and glass ceiling and how it integrates with the historic building. Through guided discussion and exploration of selected areas of the Museum we will consider how it balances preservation with contemporary relevance, and how its displays reflect ongoing debates about ownership, interpretation, and cultural heritage.
This session offers a thought-provoking look at how antiquity continues to shape modern perspectives on art and society.
This course is open to all who have a keen interest in art history.
