Creative Mixed Media

Get creative with mixed media using various mediums such as gum Arabic with watercolour, acrylic, collage and various drawing media.

Some print media such as Gelli or Lino, might be used in conjunction with painting.

Although watercolour techniques can be touched upon, this is not primarily a watercolour course. Please see website for details of the Watercolour courses on offer at Sutton College.

Additional information
Observational drawing is part of the course.

For your First lesson bring HB and 2B pencils, Acrylic and watercolour paints, Brushes, Palette and cartridge paper.

Different papers will be discussed. As you progress with the course, students and tutor can discuss other materials such as different types of paint, surfaces and mediums, which can be obtained for your personal development.

This course is open to all levels.
