Stop dreaming and start planning. Do you have a brilliant idea for a product or service but feel overwhelmed by where to start? Perhaps you are seeking a career change that offers the freedom of being your own boss, but the "business side" feels like a maze of jargon.
Our Entrepreneur Taster is the perfect launchpad for your ambitions. This isn't just a lecture on business theory; it is a practical workshop designed to give your ideas an "anchor." We use plain, real-world language to demystify the world of start-ups, helping you transition from a "thinker" to a "doer." Whether you are aiming for a full-time enterprise or a steady "side-hustle," this 3-hour session will provide the tools to evaluate your idea’s potential and guide you through the first essential step: writing your business plan.

In this intensive 3-hour workshop, we strip away the complexity and focus on the three pillars of any successful start-up: Is it legal, is it profitable, and who is buying?
By the end of this session, you will:
Stress-Test Your "Big Idea": Define your "Unique Selling Point"—the specific reason customers will choose you over the competition.
Master the Business Plan: Understand why a plan is vital and begin drafting your own using a guided, easy-to-use template.
Navigate the Legal Essentials: A jargon-free breakdown of the "must-knows," including the difference between a Sole Trader and a Limited Company, and when to notify HMRC.
Find Your Ideal Customer: Learn how to identify exactly who is going to buy from you and discover low-cost ways to reach them immediately.
The "Back of an Envelope" Budget: Demystify the numbers by learning the difference between turnover (money coming in) and profit (money you keep).
Course Outcome: You won’t just leave with a notebook full of ideas; you will leave with a 3-Point Launch Plan and a draft business plan in your hand. You will have the clarity to know if your idea is ready to go and the confidence to take the next step toward our full business start-up qualification
