Fashion – Creative Craft Entry Level 1 – Sewing – Beginners (NCFE)

You will be introduced to the world of sewing in a friendly and supportive environment.

You will have the opportunity to complete a portfolio to gain the qualification and decide whether to take this new skill to the next level.

This course also covers an introduction to British Values (learning aim 6033398

This is an Entry Level 1 course suitable for newcomers to sewing.

You should be able to understand simple written and verbal instructions to follow demonstrations and read handouts and health and safety information. You should be able to use numbers in order to do very simple measurements and calculations.

If you have already completed a Creative Craft qualification at this level you cannot be funded again regardless of the subject you intend to learn. If you would like to check this, please contact Sutton College

Your tutor will inform you of tools that could be purchased (if you choose) to aid learning during the first session., Note that this is a qualification therefore you will need to photograph your work and complete a small amount of awarding body paperwork., Any course enrichment opportunities associated with this class will be listed in your Google Classroom
