Our Level 2 NCFE-accredited Jewellery - Creative Craft course is designed for learners who are looking to refine their technique, expand their creative range, and produce more complex and professional jewellery designs.
This course will enhance your foundational knowledge, skills and techniques. You will develop your design abilities further to create high-quality jewellery pieces.
You will gain a qualification that you can choose to build on to work towards a career in jewellery making and design, or simply continue as a hobby.
PLEASE NOTE: If you have already completed a Creative Craft qualification at this level you cannot be funded again regardless of the subject you intend to learn.

In this course you will develop advanced practical skills using a range of materials in the planning, preparation, construction and display of chosen jewellery designs.
You will learn to use techniques to create a variety of designs of increasing complexity as well as build your underpinning knowledge to take you to the next level including:
* Identifying and using a range of sources to explore jewellery design ideas
* Assessing the properties of available materials for jewellery design ideas
* Using feedback and personal evaluation to develop and adapt jewellery design ideas
* Production planning for chosen jewellery designs
* Making, displaying and evaluating final jewellery pieces
* Maintaining a safe working environment
Learning Aim: Z0011145 - This course will also include guidance on using Google Classroom as part of your learning experience. You will learn how to access course information, communicate and collaborate with fellow learners, submit assignments, and receive feedback from your tutor.

You will need to be working at Level 2 in your English skills to access the learning and complete the assessment tasks required.
If you do not achieve Level 2 in your English Skills Builder Assessment you must have a UK English Level 1 qualification or above. You will be asked to provide your certificates during the Course Approval Assessment.
This course is a qualification therefore you must attend all sessions and complete all assessment tasks to the required standard including a workbook demonstrating what you have learned.

Please bring a pen, pencil and paper to your class. Ensure you are wearing comfortable and appropriate clothing and footwear for a practical craft course.
