Keep Active – Enrichment (SEND) encourages learners to stay active and improve their physical wellbeing through a variety of fun and accessible physical activities. The course focuses on building confidence, coordination, and fitness while supporting learners to enjoy movement in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Learners will take part in activities that promote health, teamwork, and personal wellbeing. The course encourages learners to develop healthy habits and enjoy physical activity as part of everyday life.
Learners will explore a range of topics related to physical activity and wellbeing, including:

Warm Up & Stretching
Learners will practise gentle warm-up and stretching exercises to prepare their bodies for activity and reduce the risk of injury.

Movement & Coordination
Learners will take part in activities that develop balance, coordination, and body control.

Group Games & Activities
Learners will participate in group games that encourage teamwork, communication, and enjoyment of physical activity.

Fitness & Physical Wellbeing
Learners will explore simple exercises that help improve stamina, flexibility, and overall fitness.

Healthy Lifestyle Awareness
Learners will discuss the importance of regular physical activity and how it supports health and wellbeing.

Confidence & Participation
Learners will be encouraged to participate at their own pace, building confidence and enjoyment in staying active.
This course is suitable for adult SEND learners of all abilities who want to stay active and improve their physical wellbeing. No previous fitness experience is required. Activities can be adapted to suit different mobility levels, and support will be provided to ensure all learners can take part safely and comfortably.
