Your hard drives and phones are full of incredible images—now it’s time to bring them into the physical world! In this final term, we shift our focus from capturing images to graphic design and publishing. You will learn how to become your own editor and publisher, culminating in two tangible projects: a personalized photo book and a professional photographic leaflet.
The Art of Curation: How to select, pair, and sequence your images to tell a cohesive, compelling story.

How to Create a Photo Book: A complete walkthrough of photo book software. Learn about layout design, choosing the right paper types, adding text, and preparing your book for the printing press.

How to Create a Photographic Leaflet: Learn the basics of graphic design to create a double-sided or tri-fold leaflet. Perfect for showcasing a portfolio, promoting a business, or creating a family newsletter.

Print vs Digital: Understanding resolution, DPI, and color profiles so that what you see on your screen matches exactly what gets printed on paper.

End-of-Year Showcase: A celebratory review of everyone’s printed books and leaflets.
Please bring a pen, pencil and paper to your class. Any course enrichment opportunities associated with this class will be listed in your Google Classroom.
