You should bring a notebook/sketchbook to each class to record your notes/ideas. You should also bring an apron/overall as clay and glazes can be messy.
There is a selection of tools for you to use in the studio, but if you wish to buy your own then your tutor can advise you in the first few weeks of your session.
Clay used will be charged at £3.50 per kilo before firing. Charges will be in multiples of 500gm therefore there will be a minimum charge of 500gm (£1.75).
The college does not fire clay purchased outside of the college; therefore, you should not bring in your own clay.
We make every attempt to purchase clay at the lowest prices for the best quality however, we have no control over these costs and prices will be subject to market changes.
