Whether you've taken time off for family, caregiving, or personal development, this course will equip you with the tools and essential skills to confidently step back into work. Learn how the job market works, what employers are looking for, and how to showcase your strengths. Gain confidence in job searching, applications, and interviews, and take the next step towards a successful career! This course will be held in Sutton Library, next to the College
Get job-ready with this essential return to work toolkit; CV Writing – Tailor your CV to match different job roles. Cover Letters & Applications – Highlight your key skills and sell yourself effectively. Interview Techniques – Master answering common and competency-based questions. Job Searching – Discover where to look and how to use your time effectively Skills Development – Explore volunteering and training opportunities to boost your employability.
You do not need any qualifications to attend this course nor do you need any recent work experience. However, you do need an everyday understanding of spoken and written English as there will be some writing involved and you will be expected to contribute to the class discussion.
