Do want a basic introduction to Excel and Googlesheets to improve your employability prospects or simply to help you get organised? Once you have gained these simple skills, you will be amazed at how much more efficient you will become at work or in everyday life!
You will have a basic introduction to Excel, how it can be used and how to access our online resources. You will learn how to create a new document, save your work and open it again. We will then move on and introduce the concept of The Ribbon and finish with an explanation of cell references. You will learn how to enter data and use features such as "copy and paste" and "drag and fill". We will also start to improve the readability of our sheets with some formatting. You will learn some basic cell calculations and explain the usage of cell references. The unit also looks at copying formulae and finishes with a bit of magic called "Autosum"
This is a basic introduction course but learners should have English language skills and some IT skills (how to use a mouse and how to open a document).
