This informative session is designed for parents and carers who want to support their children in preparing for their SATs (Standard Assessment Tests). The session will provide practical strategies to help children manage stress, build confidence, and improve their learning outcomes during this crucial period.
During this two-hour session, participants will explore the purpose and structure of SATs, along with common concerns and anxieties children may experience during exam preparation. The session will also cover practical techniques to support learning in English and Maths, strategies to build resilience, manage stress, and maintain motivation, as well as tips for developing effective study routines and positive habits. Additionally, participants will receive guidance on providing emotional support and reassurance to help children feel confident and secure.
There are no formal entry requirements for this course. It is open to anyone who wishes to support a child through their SATs, regardless of prior experience or knowledge. All are welcome to attend.
