Beauty Therapy Treatments Level 3 Diploma (VTCT)

The VTCT Skills Level 3 Diploma in Beauty Therapy Studies is a qualification that has been specifically designed to develop your practical skills by covering the following mandatory units:

* Working in beauty related industries
* Provide facial electrotherapy treatments
* Provide body electrotherapy treatments
* Provide body massage
* Client care and communication in beauty-related industries
* Monitor and maintain health and safety practice in the salon

To further enhance your knowledge and practical skills, optional units will be agreed when you join the course.

Learning Aim: Z0011145 - This course will also include guidance on using Google Classroom as part of your learning experience. You will learn how to access course information, communicate and collaborate with fellow learners, submit assignments, and receive feedback from your tutor.

This is a Level 3 course.

1.You will need to have achieved a recognised Level 2 Beauty Therapy Services qualification

2. You will need to be working at GCSE English Grade 3 as a minimum to access the learning and produce the assignments required.

If you do not achieve English Grade 3 in your GCSE Skills Builder Assessment you must have a UK English Level 2 qualification or above. You will be asked to provide your certificates during the Course Approval Assessment.

This course is a qualification therefore you must attend all sessions and complete all assessment tasks to the required standard including a portfolio demonstrating what you have learned. You will also be required to complete question papers set by and marked by VTCT Skills. You will need to be competent using ICT as the papers will be completed electronically.

You will be expected to attend college 3 evenings each week.

This course is open to all.

PLEASE NOTE: Concession rates may be available to those aged 19+ who do not already hold a full Level 3 qualification or have a full Level 3 qualification but are unemployed or are employed but earn below the national living wage.
If you fall outside these criteria, you can either pay the full fee or apply for an advanced learner loan. A discount will be applied to the Standard fee for those learners who take out an Advanced Learner Loan. Please contact our Enrolments & Customer Services Team for further information.

Additional information:

Please bring a pen and paper to your class. Ensure you are wearing suitable black clothing and black flat closed shoes to create a uniform to wear in the salon.

For your Course Approval session, you need to:

• Bring accepted ID in the form of either a UK passport or printout of your e-visa showing residency status
  
• Bring proof of benefit dated within the last 3 months or most recent payslip /tax return if claiming the concessionary fee
  
• Ensure you meet all previous educational requirements to attend this course
  
• Bring copies of previous exam certificates
