Creative Dance, Movement & Rhythm – Enrichment – Summer (SEND)

Learners will explore a range of topics related to creative movement, dance, and physical expression, including:

Body Awareness & Coordination
Learners will develop control, balance, and spatial awareness through guided movement exercises.

Rhythm & Timing
Learners will practise following rhythms, clapping patterns, and synchronising movement with music.

Creative Expression
Learners will use improvisation and personal interpretation to express ideas, emotions, and stories through movement.
Group Choreography & Team
work
Learners will collaborate to create short dance routines, practising communication, cooperation, and problem-solving.

Movement & Fitness
Activities will support flexibility, stamina, and general physical wellbeing in an enjoyable and accessible way.

Confidence & Self-Esteem
Learners will be encouraged to take part, build confidence in movement, and feel comfortable performing in front of peers.

This course is suitable for adult SEND learners of all abilities, including beginners. Activities can be adapted to suit different mobility levels, and support will be provided to ensure all learners can take part safely and comfortably.
