Fashion – Sewing Beginners Creative Craft Entry Level 3 (NCFE)

The course will cover a wide range of underpinning knowledge including:

* Using a range of sewing techniques of increasing complexity
* Understanding and following sewing patterns of increasing complexity
* Selecting from chosen materials to create crafted items
* Working safely and effectively with materials, tools and equipment

This is the third of a suite of qualifications: Entry Levels 1, 2 and 3.

Across the 3 courses you will have built the confidence and competence to move up to Level 1 and beyond.

Learning Aim: Z0011145 - This course will also include guidance on using Google Classroom as part of your learning experience. You will learn how to access course information, communicate and collaborate with fellow learners, submit assignments, and receive feedback from your tutor.

This is an Entry Level course.

You will need to be working at Entry Level 3 in your English skills to access the learning and complete the assessment tasks required.

If you do not achieve Entry Level 3 in your English Skills Builder Assessment you must have a UK English Entry Level 2 qualification or above. You will be asked to provide your certificates during the Course Approval Assessment.

This course is a qualification therefore you must attend all sessions and complete all assessment tasks to the required standard including a workbook demonstrating what you have learned.

Additional information:

Please bring a pen, pencil and paper to your class. Ensure you are wearing comfortable and appropriate clothing and footwear for a practical craft course.

• Bring copies of previous exam certificates
