Having a Functional Skills Maths qualification or a good grade at Maths GCSE can open so many doors for you, both in employment and for Higher Education. It is becoming more and more vital in today’s society to have a Maths Functional Skills/GCSE qualification. On a Sutton College Maths course you will receive the tuition and support to help you gain your qualification and move forward in your work and/or studies.
At Sutton College, we offer Maths courses ranging from Entry Level 3 up to Level 2 Functional Skills and GCSE Maths (Level 2).
These courses cover topics such as reading, writing and ordering numbers through to more complex topics such as algebra, ratio and probability.

September Start courses finishing May/June
We have a range of September start courses at all levels which are just once a week throughout the academic year for those who want to take their qualifications at a steady pace.

Fast Track January start courses finishing June
Our Fast Track January start courses are once a week for Level 1 and 2 learners who already have a good level of Maths and need their qualification with less guided learning hours.

June start courses
We also have Level 1 and Level 2 courses starting in June and working through the Summer.

Learning Aim: Z0011145 - Courses will also include guidance on using Google Classroom as part of your learning experience. You will learn how to access course information, communicate and collaborate with fellow learners, submit assignments, and receive feedback from your tutor.
Courses range from Entry Level to GCSE and you will be given a short online assessment at your Course Approval session. This will determine which level course you will be put onto.
