Now that your photos are safely backed up and you understand the basics, Term 2 dives deeper into the craft of image-making.

This term focuses heavily on how to drastically improve your photographic skills in any environment.

We will explore the manual elements of photography, experiment with different genres, and learn how to transform a good photo into a breathtaking one through subtle editing techniques.
Mastering Light and Exposure, understanding how exposure, shadows, and highlights change the mood of your image.

Capturing movement (action shots) and mastering depth of field (creating beautiful, blurry backgrounds for portraits).

Introduction to Mobile & Desktop Editing, using free and accessible editing apps to crop, enhance colors, adjust contrast, and fix imperfections.

Practical workshops on portraiture, landscape, macro (close-up) photography, and storytelling through a single image.
Please bring a pen, pencil and paper to your class. Any course enrichment opportunities associated with this class will be listed in your Google Classroom.
