The Sustainability Pathway at Sutton College provides adult SEND learners with hands-on opportunities to explore upcycling and creative reuse.

This course transforms discarded materials into new, functional, and decorative items, fostering creativity, practical skills, and environmental awareness. Through engaging projects, learners build confidence, independence, and an appreciation for sustainability.
* Upcycling Projects: Learners will repurpose materials such as old wine bottles, used candles, and everyday items into decorative candle holders, eco-friendly gifts, and home décor.,

* Practical Skills Development: Activities will enhance fine motor skills, coordination, and sensory engagement, ensuring accessibility for learners with diverse needs.,

* Sustainability Awareness: Understanding the impact of waste and learning how small actions contribute to a more sustainable lifestyle.,

* Enterprise & Social Skills: Learners will develop teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills while working on creative projects and sharing ideas.,
