Develop your knowledge and practice of Tai Chi and Chi Kung to be able to perform on your own with the ability to relax and recharge.
Develop exercise techniques, skills and knowledge to help to maintain whole body flexibility, tone, strength, endurance, balance and co-ordination.
This course also aims to promote the health benefits of long term adherence to an active lifestyle through regular participation in exercise at a level suited to the individual and their distinctive needs, aspirations and goals.
You will also develop your knowledge of the body and how it works and develop an understanding of the importance of keeping active.

Our Tai Chi Course is designed to improve concentration, co-ordination, balance, flexibility, strength, endurance and wellbeing.
You will learn how to warm up and perform stretching exercises and perform short Chi Kung routines.
Perform the Tai Chi Chuan short form (24 Forms).
Perform with body awareness and incorporate relaxation & meditation in exercise.

The Tai Chi Beginners Course is suitable for all Learners, with varying level options available to suit those who are very new to this Discipline and those with some basic prior knowledge and experience.
Participants are encouraged to work at their own level and pace, which may vary from week to week.
Additional information
Please wear loose fitting comfortable clothing suitable for exercising. For example; leggings, tracksuit, vest, long sleeved T Shirt.
It is advised students prepare for safe practice by not eating a large meal for at least 2 hours before the class, however you may wish to eat something small before the start of the class to provide you with an energy boost.
Please wear suitable indoor training shoes / soft soled shoes (soles are non-marking) that grip your foot securely.
A towel and or a cushion/pillow are useful for support when performing certain exercises. Optional water bottle with a secure cap.
