Painting – Enrichment (SEND) gives learners the opportunity to explore creativity through painting in a relaxed and supportive environment. The course encourages learners to experiment with colours, shapes, and artistic techniques while expressing their ideas and creativity.

Learners will build confidence, develop fine motor skills, and enjoy the process of creating artwork. The course focuses on enjoyment, self-expression, and exploring different painting styles and materials.
Learners will explore a range of topics related to painting and creative expression, including:

Exploring Painting Materials
Learners will experiment with different painting tools such as brushes, sponges, and other materials.

Colour Mixing & Techniques
Learners will explore how colours can be mixed and used to create different effects in their artwork.

Creative Painting Projects
Learners will create a variety of paintings inspired by themes, images, and personal ideas.

Developing Artistic Skills
Learners will practise techniques that support brush control, pattern creation, and artistic expression.

Imagination & Creativity
Learners will be encouraged to express their ideas, thoughts, and feelings through painting.

Confidence Through Art
Learners will share their artwork and develop confidence in their creative abilities.
This course is suitable for adult SEND learners of all abilities, including beginners with no previous painting experience. Learners should be willing to take part in creative activities and experiment with different materials.
