Our Dance, Drama & Music courses give you a range of experiences and skills across a broad range of disciplines. This lively department continues to offer a huge variety of opportunities to take up a musical instrument, sing, dance or discover a love for theatre.
If you have ever wanted to take up a musical instrument you can do so at Sutton College in a supportive environment, taught by enthusiastic expert tutors. Music courses include Guitar, Piano and Ukulele and we have courses at various levels to suit your ability.
Alternatively, come along and sing your heart out in one of our singing courses! ‘Learn to Sing in Harmony’ could be the place for you to find your voice!
Dance can be used to improve physical health and to improve coordination and flexibility as well as being a great social activity. Students come to class to dance for fun or to develop skills for formal occasions and our Dance Around the World, Ballet and Flamenco dance classes are extremely popular each year.
Our theatre workshops delve into the many aspects of plays and performance including exploring the given circumstances of a text and creating the background to a character. You will examine the relationship between the physical action and the emotional content of performance while exploring the text and sub-text and analysing the motivations of the characters.
